How to Browse Metabolite Data?

You can browse the Metabolite data from various Experiments. You can either browse the whole database or specify the metabolite name in the search box and browse the data for that particular metabolite. This text will describe how to browse the whole data. You can look for the details for searching for a metabolite by using the  button near the search text box.

 

How to browse the Biological Metadata of an experiment?

Steps:

  1. You will see all the experiments in the database. All the target experiments are listed under the main experiments. You should also be able to see the summary of all the target experiments.
  2. If you want to read about the Biological metadata of an experiment – Click on the hyperlink with the Experiment Name. You will see something like below: You can also download the biological metadata by using the “Download” Hyperlink.

 

  1. You can also download the biological metadata by using the “Download” Hyperlink.  The result will be stored n a text file.

 

 

 

How to browse the Metadata of a target experiment?

Steps:

  1. All the target experiments are listed under the main experiments. You should also be able to see the summary of all the target experiments.
  2. If you want to read about the metadata of an experiment (Experiment conditions)– Click on the hyperlink given with the Target Experiment Name. You will see something like below:

 

  1. Click on the  to see the details of Extraction Metadata, MSMetadata and Chromatography Metadata.

 

 

How to browse the data of a target experiment?

Steps:

  1. All the target experiments are listed under the main experiments. You should also be able to see the summary of all the target experiments.
  2. Click on the  to expand the list of metabolites in a target experiment.
  3. When you expand the list you will see something like

  1. Click on the  to collapse the list.

How to browse the Details of a Metabolite from a target experiment?

Steps:

  1. All the target experiments are listed under the main experiments. You should also be able to see the summary of all the target experiments.
  2. Click on the  to expand the list of metabolites in a target experiment. Click on the hyperlinked metabolite name to see the details of that metabolite.
  3. When you click on the hyperlinked metabolite name you will see something like

  1. Click on the hyperlinks to connect to other databases like “Aracyc”, “PubChem” and “MetnetDB”.
