Executive Committee (XC)

While we don't have a formal hierarchy with titles such as President, Vice President or Secretary we acknowledge the need for a more formal organizational structure. As the BCBLab grows in numbers, it becomes to big to be ruled by consensus. As such, as of Fall 2007, an Executive Committee (XC) was formed to attend to higher-level responsibilities, including but not limited to future direction, campus integration and off-campus expansion, infrastructure needs and project workflow and methodology.
While there are no formal requirements to become a BCBLab member, requirements for the XC are: be a second-year graduate student or higher, be a member of the BCBLab for at least one academic year and have actively worked on at least one project for the BCBLab.
The current (Fall 2006-Summer 2007) XC consists of the following people:

In order to qualify as a BCBLab member, you are expected to regularly attend our bi-weekly Tuesday-night meetings. Current members are:
